Nigro assisted on the game-winning goal against Rider before scoring the game-winning goal at Niagara in the Hawks’ 2-0 week in league play. Nigro’s rocket from 20 yards out was initially saved by Rider’s Ryan Baird, but the rebound set up Daniel Figarella for the game-winner in the 88th minute as the Hawks won the rematch of the 2015 MAAC Championship Game against their hOURglass rival. Against Niagara, Nigro headed in a Miguel Alves cross in front as the Hawks earned another 1-0 clean sheet. For the year, Nigro now has a team-best four goals, four assists and 12 points.
