Wilson Offensive Player of the Week

Rachelle Ross, Monmouth

Jr., F, Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape

Junior forward Rachelle Ross scored four of Monmouth’s six goals this week, including the game-winning goal in both games against Siena and Quinnipiac. Ross scored the final two goals in Monmouth’s 4-2 win over the Saints and both goals in the Hawks’ comeback overtime victory over the Bobcats. The Hawks improved to 7-0-0 in MAAC play, which is the best conference start ever for Monmouth. Ross is second on the team with seven goals in 2016 and now has 17 for her career. She has five-career game-winning goals. Her 47 career points (17 G, 13 A) ranks 25th in Monmouth history.

Wilson Defensive Player of the Week

Shangyne Samuels, Niagara

R-Jr., GK, Bridgeport, CT/McMahon

Samuels (3-2-0) started in goal for the Purple Eagles against both Saint Peter’s (Wednesday, Oct. 12) and Fairfield (Saturday, Oct. 15). She recorded six total saves on the week, as well as earning her second career shutout against Fairfield. She allowed only one goal and finished the week with a .857 save percentage.

Wilson Rookie of the Week

Keri Bradley, Marist

Fr., F, Williston Park, NY/Sacred Heart Academy

Keri Bradley scored a goal in each of the Red Foxes two games this past week. In the Red Foxes first win of the week against Canisius, Bradley scored the first goal of the game and finished with two shots in 74 minutes played. In the Red Foxes second game of the week, Bradley tied the game in the 75th minute, sending the game into overtime where they Red Foxes eventually prevailed against second-place Rider, 2-1.
