Monmouth University Clinches Fourth Straight Women's Soccer Regular Season Championship

EDISON, NJ – With a 3-0 win over Canisius College this afternoon, the Monmouth University Hawks have clinched the 2016 MAAC Women’s Soccer Regular Season Championship. This is the fourth straight regular season title for the Hawks.
Monmouth University now sits at 8-0-1, 25 points in the MAAC standings and will serve as the hosts of the 2016 MAAC Women’s Soccer Championship at Hesse Field on The Great Lawn in West Long Branch, NJ.
The semifinals of the 2016 MAAC Women’s Soccer Championship will be held on Friday, November 4 with the championship game taking place on Sunday, November 6. First round games will be held at the third and fourth seeded schools on Saturday, October 29. Those sites are still to be determined.
