Monmouth University Clinches 2016 MAAC Field Hockey Regular Season Championship

EDISON, NJ – With a 2-0 win over Fairfield University this afternoon, the Monmouth University Hawks have clinched the 2016 MAAC Field Hockey Regular Season Championship. This is the third straight regular season title for the Hawks.
Monmouth University now sits at 5-0 in the MAAC and 14-2 overall and will serve as the hosts of the 2016 MAAC Field Hockey Championship at “So Sweet a Cat” Field in West Long Branch, NJ.
The semifinals of the 2016 MAAC Field Hockey Championship will be held on Friday, November 4 with the championship game taking place on Sunday, November 6.
