Sophomore Kyle Mueller led Monmouth’s men’s team for the second week in a row, as he finished sixth overall out of 117 runners at Central Connecticut State. Mueller notched the fourth fastest time in Monmouth history at the meet (15:17.4), besting his time last year by 34 seconds.
Female Runner of the Week
Jenna Cupp
Sr., Newark Valley, NY/Newark Valley High School
Senior Jenna Cupp led Monmouth’s women’s team at Central Connecticut State, finishing eighth overall in a field of 127 runners. Cupp paced the women to a fourth place finish out of 17 Division 1 teams, running the third fastest time in Monmouth history at the course (10:24.44).
