Player of the Week
Megan Theiller, Fairfield

Megan Theiller led the Fairfield attack in a pair of MAAC wins as the Stags officially clinched a berth in the MAAC Championship for the 21st consecutive season. Theiller averaged 5.00 kills per set on .354 hitting and aided the defensive effort with 2.57 digs per outing as Fairfield swept Iona and topped Manhattan, 3-1. She added four aces, three blocks and three assists to the victories. Theiller recorded her team-leading 10th double-double with 14 kills on .275 hitting and 12 digs in the win at Iona. At Manhattan, she totaled 21 kills on .436 hitting with six digs in the four-set victory.
Libero of the Week
Kalehua Katagiri, Siena
Sr., Libero, Kaneohe, HI/Kamehameha (Kaplama)
Katagiri continues to lead the MAAC in digs per set with 5.03. This week in a win over Marist, Katagiri recorded 24 digs for an average of 6.00 digs per set. She had a perfect reception percentage and recorded one kill and three assists in the victory.
Rookie of the Week
Cassidy Ceriani, Canisius
Fr., S, San Diego, CA/Scripps Ranch
Freshman Cassidy Ceriani turned in another outstanding weekend, highlighted by becoming the first Griff to notch triple-double since the 2004 season. On Sunday the freshman setter recorded a season-high 10 kills, 30 assists and 12 digs, as she was the first Canisius player since Lindsay Garbacz to accomplish the feat. Her effort on Sunday helped lead the Griffs to a 3-1 win over Saint Peter’s. On Saturday, the first-year player recorded a double-double in a losing effort against the Broncs, notching 38 assists and 12 digs. She averaged three digs per set and 8.50 assists per set during the two-game stretch, while adding 1.75 kills per set as the quarterback of the Canisius offense.
