Kieran Clements

Graduate Kieran Clements led a dominant performance by the Maroon & Gold and at the highly competitive Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University this past weekend. Clements placed second individually, crossing the 10K event in 23:38. He was the first of three Iona College runners to finish in the top 10. Iona raced up against and bested nationally ranked Georgetown (No. 8), Columbia (No. 25) and Penn (No. 26). The Gaels scored 34 team points, 81 points better than the runner-up Hoyas.
Female Runner of the Week
Teghan Henderson

Graduate Teghan Henderson was the top performer for Iona at the highly competitive Paul Short Invitational held at Lehigh University this past weekend. She placed 23rd overall, crossing the finish line in 20:36. Henderson competed against various nationally ranked opponents; Georgetown (No. 19), Penn (No. 22) and Yale (No. 29). The Gaels placed 14th in the 6K race.
