Aryn McClure led the Bobcats to a pair of monstrous victories this past week in wins coming against Florida Gulf Coast (66-56) at home and Dayton (63-60) on the road – two opponents that have combined for 453 wins, .771 winning percentage, 10 conference titles and five NCAA Tournament victories in the last nine seasons. McClure started the week with a dominating showing against FGCU as she led the way with 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and five blocks in 29 minutes. McClure’s fifth career double-double paced the Bobcats in a win over fellow mid-major power FGCU while she swatted away a career-high five blocks in the 10-point victory. She followed that up with 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocks while battling 26 minutes of foul trouble in the three-point road win over the Flyers. McClure netted 11 of her 12 points in the second half as she helped lead Quinnipiac to a 17-point come-from-behind victory over Atlantic-10 power Dayton which stands as the largest single-game comeback in the program’s Division I history.

Johnson had a collegiate debut to remember, scoring 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting and recording six steals in a 70-62 win over local rival Princeton. She also dished out three assists, playing 31 minutes in the start.
