Grazulis, Brady Earn Student-Athlete of the Week Awards

Anna Grazulis
Swimming and Diving | Senior| Sprinter| 5’6”| Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Mendon

Grazulis registered top three finishes in the 200-yard butterfly against Fairfield and Southern Connecticut State during the 2015-16 regular season. At the MAAC Championships she swam in the 1,000-yard freestyle, 200-yard butterfly and 400-yard individual medley. Grazulis concluded the year at the ECAC Championships, a meet in which she competed in the 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard butterfly and 400-yard individual medley.

A journalism major, Grazulis has earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team the last two seasons. She recently served on a student panel that discussed how millennials consume news at the Associated Press Sports Editors Northeast Meeting, which was held on the Marist College campus November 7.

 

Chris Brady
Men's Basketball | Senior| Center|6’10”| Greenlawn, NY/Harborfields

Chris Brady posted his second career double-double, set a career-high in points with 17 and hit seven field goals, a career-best, at South Carolina Tuesday. Brady was a major reason the Hawks were able to lead an 18-point second half comeback and force overtime at the SEC school. He is third on the team with 11.7 points per game to this point and leads MU with seven rebounds per game.
