2016 MAAC Men's Soccer Championship Seeding Set

EDISON, NJ –The top six seeds have been determined for the 2016 MAAC Men’s Soccer Championship.
The Quinnipiac University Bobcats are the 2016 MAAC Regular Season Champions after going (8-2, 24 points) in conference play to claim the top spot in the championship. They have earned a first round bye and will take on the lowest remaining seed from the first round games on Friday, November 11.
Defending MAAC Men’s Soccer Champions, Rider University (7-1-2, 23 points) claim the second seed in this year’s championship and will have a first-round bye. They take on the higher remaining seed from the first round on Friday, November 11 during the semifinals.
Third seeded Siena College (6-3-1, 19 points) will welcome the 2015 MAAC Men’s Soccer Regular Season Champions, sixth seeded Monmouth University (5-5, 15 points) for a first round game in Loudonville, NY on Saturday, November 5 at 1pm.
Fourth seeded Marist College (6-4, 18 points) will host fifth seeded Canisius College (4-3-3, 15 points) in first round action on Saturday, November 5 at 7pm in Poughkeepsie, NY. The Griffs and Hawks finished with the same conference record, due to the Griffs regular season victory over the Hawks, they earned the fifth seed by the head to head tiebreaker.
