Canisius’ junior guard, Saliah Serrette had her best weekend as a Griff, averaging 19.0 points and five rebounds per game during the weekend series. On Friday, against Rider, Serrette posted a career-best 23 points to go along with five rebounds, one assist, and one block. She recorded double-figures again on Sunday, in a victory over Monmouth, as the Natick, MA native posted 15 points, five rebounds, one assist, and one block in the winning effort. Not only was Serrette a top-producer for Canisius, she was dangerously accurate, posting an 83.3 field goal percentage, and shot 77.8 percent from the charity stripe.

Rebekah Hand, Marist

Rebekah Hand continued her torrid stretch for Marist averaging 17.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and a block a game for the Red Foxes in a two-game week. In Hand’s first game she scored 25 points, 21 in the first half, grabbed seven rebounds, had two assists, two blocks, and a steal in 37 minutes of action. Hand went 9-for-18 from the field and hit a number of crucial threes to pad the Red Foxes lead by half.
In Hand’s second game against Saint Peter’s she scored 10 points and dished out five assists in 34 minutes of play.
