Taylor Wentzel

Wentzel has been a mainstay in the Broncs’ starting line-up over the last two years, starting all 37 games at the point. This season, she’s averaged 4.9 points per game on 44.4 percent shooting from long range and a team-leading 2.0 assists per game. For her Rider career, she’s played in 92 games, including 55 starts. She matched her career high with 13 points in a 78-58 win at Niagara on Sunday as the Broncs moved to 2-0 and swept the Western New York road trip for the first time in program history. She hit 11-of-15 free throws en route to the career-high performance. The public relations and criminal justice dual major is a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree.
Quadir Welton

Welton is off to a strong start in his final season at Saint Peter’s as the preseason second team All-MAAC selection ranks fifth in the MAAC in scoring, averaging 17.6 points per game, and fourth in rebounding, averaging 8.4 rebounds per outing. The Philadelphia native has the third best field goal shooting percentage in the conference, shooting .566 percent from the floor. Welton also ranks in the conference’s top five in offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, and blocked shots.
Welton set a new career mark in scoring last week when he posted 27 points in a win over Boston University and tied his career best in rebounds with 14 against Iona. He has registered two double doubles this year, and is one of five players to have multiple double double games this season. Welton has led the Peacocks in scoring in five out of seven contest, and in rebounding in six out of the seven games.
