Justin Robinson
Men's Basketball, Junior, Guard, 5'8", Lake Katrine, NY / Kingston
Robinson capped a monumental comeback for the Hawks at Rider Friday night, knocking home his fifth three-pointer of the game with 3.8 seconds remaining to finish a 17-2 run to end the game for the win. The junior finished with 21 points on the night with six assists, five rebounds and two steals, hitting eight shots, five of which came from deep. Earlier in the week, Robinson went 5-for-7 with 16 points and five assists in a 26-point victory at Marist. For the week, he shot 56.5%, 63.6% from deep and 4-5 from the foul line with 11 assists, six rebounds and four steals.
Meredith Wurtz
Women's Swimming and Diving, Junior, Sprinter, 5'9", Lafayette Hill, PA / William Penn Charter
Wurtz was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Meet at the 2016 championships this past weekend after setting three new school records, one individual and two relays. She won gold in the 50-yard freestyle (23.48 seconds) to break her own fastest mark in program history. She also anchored Marist's 800-yard freestyle relay (7:29.41) and 400-yard medley relay squads. Wurtz ended the meet with a total of seven first place finishes between relay and individual event victories. Prior to the meet she was selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second straight season. She is an educational psychology and childhood studies major.
