Providence, RI – Head coach Chris Radmonovich became the Wagner women's' water polo programs All-Time Wins Leader after the Seahawks secured an 11-9 victory over Bucknell at the Brown-Bruno Classic.

Radmonovich's win total now sits at 117 which broke a tie with former Seahawk head coach Pat Beemer, Radmonovich posts a career record of 117-71 which also makes him the current leader in winning percentage at Wagner.

The Seahawks offense was led by senior center Jess Lundgren (Queensland, Australia/ Mountain Creek) and senior attacker Megan Rodriguez (Danville, CA/ San Ramon Valley) through the contest. Lundgren posted a game-high six points as she tallied four scores and dished out two assists. Rodriguez passed out four assists in the game as she seemed to be involved in nearly every scoring opportunity for the Green & White.

It was sophomore attacker Lacey Anderson (Thousand Oaks, CA/ Westlake) who opened up the scoring for Wagner as she found the back of the net off of a Lundgren pass. The Seahawks took advantage of a man-up opportunity later in the first period with Rodriguez hitting a cutting Lily Doerfler (Annapolis, MD/ Broadneck) who rattled the cage for the tally. The Bison converted on three scores of their own led by two scores and an assist by Eleanor Marrs. Bucknell led Wagner 3-2 following the first quarter.

Each squad's offense found their stride in the second period with both the Bison and the Seahawks scoring four goals apiece. Marrs was once again influential in the Bison attack as she scored her third goal of the game while dishing out an assist.  Lundgren struck home two scores in the second while freshman Abby Irving (Brentwood Bay, B.C. / Canadian Sport School/ Stelly's) joined the scoring column with two goals of her own. The Seahawks entered halftime trailing the Bison by a score of 7-6.

The Green & White took control in the second half as they scored five of the next six goals in the contest. Rodriguez found Lundgren and sophomore Kimberly Watson (Pointe-Claire, Quebec/ John Rennie) for tallies early in the third period. Dorfler hit home on a struck late in the third quarter to respond to Bucknell's lone score of the period to bring the score to 9-8 entering the final stanza.

Reigning Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Offensive Player of the Year, Lundgren would assist Anderson on a goal before finding the back of the net for her fourth score of the game which put the game out of reach. Bucknell added a late goal to bring the final to 11-9 in favor of the Seahawks.
