2016 Women's Varsity National Top 25 (Week 11/March 30)
The University of Southern California remains the undisputed No. 1-ranked women's water polo team in the land as the Women of Troy pick up 100 points to once again rate in the top spot of the Week 11/March 30 Women's Varsity National Top 25 Poll.
The Top Four teams in the country remain unchanged as USC, the University of California-Los Angeles (96 points), Stanford University (92 points) and the University of Hawaii (88 points) retain their positions from the Week 10/March 23 balloting.
Change comes at No. 5-to-10 in the rankings, however, as Arizona State University (82 points) and the University of California-Davis (77 points) both inch up one place to No. 5 and 6, respectively.
The University of California (76 points) follows by breaking out of a tie at No. 8 with the University of Michigan (73 points) to assume the No. 7 slot. Michigan holds steady at No. 8, while the University of California-Davis (66 points) slides back to No. 9 in the wake of an 8-4 loss to Long Beach State University.
Another tie at No. 10 from last week is also shattered as the University of California-San Diego (64 points) takes sole control of the final spot in the Top 10 with former equal San Jose State University (61 points) falling back to No. 11.
University of the Pacific (55 points), Harvard University (52 points), the University of California-Santa Barbara (44 points) and Indiana University (42 points) remain steadfast at No. 12-to-15, while Long Beach State (41 points) uses its defeat of UC-Davis to break into the Top 20 at No. 16 after ranking at No. 21 last week.
Princeton University (38 points) sticks at No. 17 with Loyola Marymount University (29 points) slipping two slots to No. 18.
Wagner College (28 points) and San Diego State University (25 points) hold at No. 19 and 20, with California Baptist University (22 points) balancing its earned points and position at No. 22.
California State University, Bakersfield (9 points) improves to No. 23 with Marist College (8 points) and California State University-Northridge (6 points) completing the Top 25.
