Jess Lundgren, Wagner

Senior center Jess Lundgren poured in 20 goals while adding 10 assists to lead the Seahawks to an unblemished 4-0 mark over the weekend. Lundgren’s weekend was highlighted be her efforts vs. Marist as she tossed in six goals on 10 shots and VMI where she scored seven goals on only nine shot attempts. The do it all center also recorded 16 steals over the four game stretch.

Amanda Amorosa, Marist
Jr., Utility, 5-9, Montreal, QC / John Rennie
Amanda Amorosa had nine steals, five drawn ejections and one field block in four matches against Wagner, VMI, Villanova and Iona. She had three steals and one drawn ejection in a 10-7 win over Iona, three steals in a 18-8 win over VMI and three steals, and three drawn ejections in a 7-5 loss to Villanova.
Rookie of the Week
Katie Tijerina, Marist

Katie Tijerina had nine goals, three assists, five steals, one field block and one drawn ejection in four matches against Wagner, VMI, Villanova and Iona. She had four goals, one assist and one field block in a 10-7 win over Iona, three goals, one assist and one steal in an 18-8 win over VMI. Tijerina also had two goals, one assist, and one steal in an 8-6 loss to Wagner.
