ECAC Softball Rookie of the Week
Claire Oberdorf – Marist College, Fr., Utility, Greensburg, Pa.
Oberdorf hit a team-best .643 (9-for-14) as Marist went 3-1 this past week. She had an on-base percentage of .688, a slugging percentage of .929, five RBI, four runs scored, two extra-base hits (homer, double), two walks and a sacrifice bunt. She was also a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts. Oberdorf hit safely in every game, and had three multi-hit games, and also handled all 10 fielding chances successfully without committing an error, finishing with six assists and four putouts.
