Jaspers Fabian Pena Named ECAC Baseball Rookie of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the Corvias ECAC Baseball Players of the Week for the week ending April 17.

Baseball Rookie of the Week
Fabian Pena – Manhattan College, Fr., Catcher, Miami, Fla.
Pena had a big week for the Jaspers, batting .500 (9-for-18) with four runs, two doubles, two home runs, eight RBI and three walks while posting a .944 slugging percentage and a .522 on-base percentage. The freshman reached base safely in all five contests, and recorded multiple hits in three of five games on the week for Manhattan.
