Varsity Eight
Marist College
Marist’s first varsity eight boat competed in heat three of a 16 boat race at the 2016 Kerr Cup against Temple, St. Joseph’s, Philadelphia, Iona, and Sacred Heart. The first varsity eight boat finished third with a time of 6:46.50 and moved onto the Petite Final. In the Petite Final the Red Foxes finished in second place with a time of 6:58.97, just behind Villanova and beating out boats from Washington College, Philadelphia, Fairfield, and LaSalle.

Second Varsity Eight
Marist College
In the second varsity eight race the Red Foxes placed in third with a time of 7:03.82 against boats from St. Joseph’s, Temple, Villanova, and Sacred Heart at the 2016 Kerr Cup. The time was good enough for the boat to move onto the Grand Final. In the Grand Final, the second varsity eight boat finished in fifth against Temple, St. Josephs, Fordham, Drexel, and Lehigh with a time of 7:05.76.

Marist College
The varsity four boat competed in heat two of three in the 16 boat competition at the 2016 Kerr Cup and placed third in their heat against Drexel, St. Joesph’s, Richmond, and Stetson. The Red Foxes put up a time of 7:57.26 racing from the second lane.
