Varsity Eight
Canisius College
The Canisius varsity eight consisting of Kira Voyer, Shannon Pritzker, Nora Kennon, Madeline Kurka, Kathryn Hobika, Brooke Stanley, Molly Murphy, Sydney Bichsel and Hannah Blum won its head-to-head match-up with MAAC foe Robert Morris at the Black Rock Cup this weekend. The Varsity eight clocked in with a time of 6:56.48, while the Colonials varsity eight came in behind the Griffs with a time of 7:13.30.
Second Varsity Eight
Fairfield University
The Fairfield second varsity 8 secured a first-place finish in its race at the Spring Met Championship on Saturday. The crew crossed the finish line with a time of 7:10.95, besting Fairfield C, Geneseo B, Sacred Heart B, Iona B, and Vassar.

The Canisius varsity four was also successful against its conference foe this weekend at the Black Rock Cup. The lineup of Melissa Frank, Julianna Sciandra, Geovaira Hernandez, Liz DelBarba, and Kaitlyn Taylor finished the race with a time of 8:13.01 while the Robert Morris’ varsity four clocked in with a time of 8:31.72
