MAAC Announces 2016 Water Polo All-Academic Team
EDISON, NJ - A total of 42 student-athletes comprise the 2016 MAAC Water Polo All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Iona College and Wagner College tied for first to lead all schools with 10 student-athletes apiece. St. Francis College added 7 student-athletes while Marist College added 6 student-athletes. Siena College followed close behind with 5 student-athletes. To round out the list, Villanova University and Virginia Military Institute each added 2 student-athletes.
