Eric Austin carded a two-day 148 (+4) to finish in fifth place at the Towson Invitational. He was the top MAAC performer in an 83-golfer field and finished just three shots off the pace. Austin turned in an opening-round 75 (+3) on Saturday and fired a 73 (+1) on Sunday as the Stags vaulted from 10th to 3rd place at the Towson Invitational.
Fairfield’s 3rd place finish led them to defeat MAAC rivals Siena College and Rider University in the 16 team event. The Stags are back in action on April 14th at the Monmouth Invitational.
