Lauren Filicia

Senior, Outfielder, 5'6", San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines High School

Lauren Filicia capped an outstanding career with the Fairfield softball team as a First Team NFCA All-Region selection. The 2016 graduate of the University earned the award for the second straight season to go along with her third consecutive First Team All-MAAC recognition.

Filicia hit .408 in her senior campaign with the Stags, fueled by a 26-game hitting streak in which she hit .516 with 14 multi-hit performances. A starter in all 50 games, Filicia added 10 doubles, two triples, a home run, 23 RBI and 25 stolen bases on 27 attempts. The 2015 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year was also perfect on 107 chances in centerfield, including five assists.

After playing a major role in the Stags’ MAAC Championship run in 2015 – including Championship MVP honors – Filicia helped guide Fairfield to a 27-23 record and another conference playoff appearance this past spring.
