Ryan Keenan

Men's Lacrosse, Senior, Attack, 5'11", Oshawa, Ontario / The Hill Academy

Keenan guided the Quinnipiac men’s lacrosse team to an undefeated season in the MAAC this spring, finishing 6-0 in the regular season and then winning both conference tournament games to earn the program’s first ever NCAA bid. Keenan leads the Bobcats in points heading into the NCAA Tournament with 46 (31 goals, 15 assists), and ranks fourth in school history with 92 career goals and tied for fifth in points with 126. He was a first-team All-MAAC selection and earned a spot on the MAAC All-Tournament team after scoring a season-high five goals in the semifinals against Canisius and adding two goals and two assists against Marist in the finals. He also had the biggest goal of the regular season for the Bobcats when he scored with just three seconds left to force overtime in an 8-7 win at Marist on April 2, which ended up deciding the regular season title. An Academic All-America nominee, Keenan carries a 3.77 cumulative grade point average as a business major at Quinnipiac.

 

Destiny Johnson

Track and Field, Senior, Sprints, Kingston, NY / Kingston High School

Senior Destiny Johnson has been with the track and field program since its inaugural season in 2014. Johnson has set numerous records during her time as a Purple Eagle. She is a part of the 4x100 m relay team that ran the event in a school record time of 48.05 to finish third in the UB Open on April 30. Johnson also set a new record in the 200m (25.79) to finish in third place in the UB Open.  Johnson wrapped up her career at the 2016 MAAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a sixth place finish in the 200m and a fifth place finish in the 4x100m. Johnson will graduate with a degree in nursing.
