2016 MAAC Women's Soccer Kicks Off Today

EDISON, NJ – The 2016 MAAC Women’s Soccer season begins on Friday, August 19 with nine games on the schedule. Defending champion Siena College begins its 2016 campaign with a non-conference road matchup with New Hampshire at 7:00 p.m. 2015 MAAC Women’s Soccer Regular Season Champion, Monmouth University heads to Lewisburg, PA to face Bucknell University at 7:00 p.m. To view the schedule of women’s soccer games this weekend and for the 2016 season, visit maacsports.com
During the 2016 MAAC Soccer Preseason Award Show on Wednesday, August 3, which aired on MAAC.TV, Monmouth University was selected as the preseason favorites with senior forward Alexis McTamney voted as the 2016 MAAC Women’s Soccer Preseason Player of the Year.
