As the Siena men won the Rider Invitational, Evans Kibet was the first Saint and second overall runner to finish. He set the new Siena freshman 8K record with his time of 24:44.93. The time also places him in fifth for the fastest Siena time overall.

The Iona College women's cross country team took part in the 22nd annual Br. John "Paddy" Doyle / Iona College Meet of Champions early Friday morning at Van Cortlandt Park. The Gaels placed fifth in the meet, led by graduate senior Teghan Henderson who placed first in the 5K. The graduate senior out of Ontario, Canada led placed first in the 5,000-meter event with a time of 18:07.6.
