Marist Duo of Bowen, Bradley & Niagara's Samuels Take Home Wilson Weekly Awards

Wilson Offensive Player of the Week

Camille Bowen, Marist

Jr., M/D, Goshen, NY/Goshen HS

Camille Bowen notched her sixth, seventh, and eighth goals of the year in the Red Foxes 7-1 road win over Delaware State last Wednesday evening. Bowen teamed up with fellow Red Fox Keri Bradley to become the first pair of players in Marist women’s soccer’s program history to record hat-tricks in the same game. Camille Bowen’s hat-trick was also the sixth in program history. Bowen recorded her first goal in the 40th minute, her second in the 49th minute and her last in the 75th minute. Bowen also picked up an assist in the game, tying the record for most points in a game in program history with seven, a record held by Rycke Guiney during a game from the 2013-14 season.

Wilson Defensive Player of the Week

Shangyne Samuels, Niagara

R-Jr., GK, Bridgeport, CT/McMahon

In her first career start, Samuels (1-0-0) played a full game and recorded a career-high seven saves, as well as earning the first shutout of her career in the Purple Eagles’ 3-0 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Wilson Rookie of the Week

Keri Bradley, Marist

Freshman forward Keri Bradley notched her third, fourth, and fifth goals of the season in the Red Foxes 7-1 road win over Delaware State last Wednesday evening. Bradley teamed up with fellow Red Fox Camille Bowen to become the first pair of players in Marist women’s soccer’s program history to record hat-tricks in the same game. Keri Bradley’s hat-trick was also the fifth in program history. Bradley took six shots in the game scoring on her first two, pushing Marist out to a quick 2-0 lead by the 14th minute. Keri Bradley scored again in the 57th minute to cap off her career performance.
