Senior forward Jordan Washington led the Gaels in scoring and rebounding this past week during a 1-1 week for the Maroon & Gold that included a MAAC win against Marist on Saturday. Washington averaged 21.5 points while shooting 63.0 percent from the field in addition to 8.0 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals per-game in 22.0 minutes per-contest. The Jamaica native tallied 17 points and eight rebounds at Delaware to close out the non-conference schedule before totaling 26 points in 21 minutes on 10-of-14 shooting (71.4 percent) and six free throws. He also hauled in eight rebounds, three of which came on the offensive glass.

Jordan averaged 18.0 points, 5.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game in the Broncs’ 1-1 week against North Carolina State and Monmouth. Against the Wolfpack, Jordan scored a team-high 14 points and dished out five assists in a tough match-up against projected top five 2017 NBA Draft pick Dennis Smith, Jr. Jordan then had 22 points, six assists, five rebounds and a steal in the Broncs 93-90 overtime win at league-leading Monmouth. He made 7-of-11 shots, including 3-of-4 from long range and 5-of-8 from the free throw line. His three pointer with 23.1 seconds left in regulation gave Rider a four-point lead. He then dished out a pair of assists in overtime. For the year, Jordan is averaging 11.5 points and a league-leading 5.8 assists per game.
