Quinnipiac Women's Basketball Ranked Seventh in College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll

EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac University Women’s Basketball team was ranked seventh in the latest College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll. This marks the 11th consecutive week that the Bobcats have been ranked within the Top 10 dating back to November 15.
Green Bay captured the top spot, receiving all 31 first place votes. Ahead of Quinnipiac was Drake, South Dakota, Gonzaga, South Dakota State, and Northern Iowa. The Bobcats are coming of a 1-1 week as they saw their seven-game winning streak come to an end on Thursday, January 19 against Monmouth University.
Quinnipiac rebounded from its first conference loss of the season with a 79-53 victory over Rider University on Saturday, January 21. The Bobcats will be back in action on Thursday, January 26 when they host Niagara University from the TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden, CT at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, January 28 they will travel to the Hynes Center in New Rochelle, NY to take on defending MAAC Champions Iona College at 2:00 p.m.
Quinnipiac ranks first in the MAAC in scoring offense (70.1), scoring defense (58.0), scoring margin (+12.1), field goal percentage defense (36.2%), blocked shots per game (4.6), assists per game (16.8), steals per game (12.2), turnover margin (+6.90), and assist/turnover ratio (1.1).
