MAAC Basketball Championship Trophy & MAAC Choices Sober Tailgates Hit the Road on Thursday, January 5

EDISON, NJ – The 2017 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Basketball Championship traveling trophy schedule will revolve around the MAAC basketball telecast schedule. In addition to the traveling trophy, the MAAC Choices Sober Tailgates will be taking place before select MAAC television games. The MAAC Choices Sober Tailgates will give student-athletes a chance to learn about the MAAC Choices initiative. The objective of the program is to alter the decisions being made in the social landscape of higher education. To learn more about the MAAC Choices program, click here.
MAAC fans will have the opportunity to take photos with the trophy to share on social media. All photos taken will be placed into an album on the official Facebook page of the MAAC and your photo could be seen on the big screen during the 2017 MAAC Basketball Championships from March 2-6 at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY. Here is the schedule for the 2017 MAAC Basketball traveling trophy as well as the dates for the MAAC Choices Sober Tailgates. Come out to see your favorite MAAC team compete in conference play and take a picture with the trophy. Learn more about the MAAC Choices program, enjoy a slice of pizza and play some tailgating games. All MAAC Choices Sober Tailgates will be held inside the arenas starting 90 minutes before tip-off.
