Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Alyssa Chain, Iona
So., Seaville, NJ/Ocean City
Alyssa Chain took first place in the 50-free (24.79), and the 100-butterfly (59.97). She was also a part of the winning 200-yard medley 1:53.75 (24.39) versus Holy Cross. Chain was once again a part of the winning medley relay team that posted a 1:53.47 (25.17) against SCSU, while winning the 100-free (54.67), 50-free (24.61), and 100-butterfly (59.87)
Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Justin Carey, Rider
So., Landenberg, PA/Avon Grove
In the season-opener for the Broncs, Justin Carey won two individual events the 100-back (50.23), and 100-fly (50.19), as well as being part of the winning 200 medley team that recorded a time of 1:32.66. Carey placed second in the 200 back with a time of 1:52.76.
Women’s Diver of the Week
Breanne Hatter, Rider
Jr., Lincroft, NJ/Middletown South
Breanne Hatter finished second in the 1M dive with a score of 276.37 to kick off her junior season for the Broncs.
Men’s Diver of the Week
Dillon Walles, Rider
Fr., The Woodlands, TX/The Woodlands
Dillon Walles recorded a score of 316.20 in the 1M dive and a 343.20 in the 3M dive, winning both events in his collegiate debut.
