Ryan Ansel competed in the 2017 New England Championships held at Franklin Park in Boston, where he placed 13
th overall. The 13
th place finish was the best result for a Bobcat in the event since 2012 and was good enough for Ansel to receive All-New England honors. With a time of 25:38, Ansel finished less than a minute off the pace.
Female Runner of the Week
Emily Wolff, Quinnipiac
Sr., Highlands Ranch, CO/Araphoe
Emily Wolff finished third in the 5k women’s run at the New England Championships, with a time of 18:02.5. Her third place finish was a personal-best for the senior and the program’s second-best finish at the event and helped Wolff receive All-New England honors.
