Chris Marshall Appointed MAAC Coordinator of Baseball Umpires
Altamonte Springs, FL – October 16, 2017 – United Collegiate Umpires (UCU) President, Chris Marshall has been appointed Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Coordinator of Baseball Umpires, starting in 2018.
“The MAAC holds a special meaning for me as it was the first Division I conference staff I was a member of”, stated UCU President, Chris Marshall. “I know firsthand the high level of play in the MAAC requires consistent, exceptional umpiring and look forward to assembling a conference staff committed in the same manner represented by the student-athletes on and off the field.”

About Chris Marshall
After beginning his NCAA Career in 1996, Chris graduated from the Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring. Instead of pursuing a professional career, Chris returned to NCAA baseball. He has achieved extensive post-season recognition: The 1999 and 2000 Junior College World Series, 2007 Division III College World Series, seven Division III Regionals, two Division II Regionals, seven Division I Regionals, and four Division I Super Regionals (2014-2017).
