Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Rebecca Anthone, Canisius

Rebecca Anthone took first place in the 500, 200, and, 50 free events in the season opener for Canisius College. Her times of 5:11.15 (500-free), 1:55.24 (200-free), and 24:39 (50-free) paced the field, and helped the Griffs to a team score of 145 total point on the day.
Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Matthew Mays, Bryant

Matthew Mays won all four of his events this past weekend against Bucknell. Mays swam a 1:52.43 in the 200 back and helped the Bulldogs win the 400 free relay, setting pool records for both events.
Women’s Diver of the Week
Breanne Hatter, Rider
Jr., Lincroft, NJ/Middletown South
Breanne Hatter wins her second-straight MAAC weekly award by setting a pool record at Siena in the 1M dive, with a score of 285.60. She also posted a third-place finish in the 3M dive with a mark of 249.90
Men’s Diver of the Week
Travis Wright, Canisius
Sr., Derby, NY/Lake Shore
Travis Wright, the defending MAAC Diving Champion wins his first weekly of the season as he took top honors in the 1M and 3M dive. In the 1M he collected a score of 320.85, while tallying a 369.9 in the 3M against Marist College last Friday.
