Offensive Player of the Week
Rachelle Ross, Monmouth

Rachelle Ross scored twice in the first half of Monmouth’s 2-0 victory over Quinnipiac University, in a rematch of the 2016 MAAC women’s soccer championship game. Ross scored 1:10 into the game and netted the fastest goal for Monmouth since October 23, 2013. The senior forward recorded her fifth career multi-goal game and helped the Hawks win their fourth consecutive match. The team is also unbeaten in its last eight contests (7-0-1) overall. Ross has four goals on the season and 24 for her career and with 66 career points, Ross is tied with Barbara Callaghan (1985-88) for 14
th in program history.
Defensive Player of the Week
Amanda Knaub, Monmouth

Amanda Knuab earns her third MAAC Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season. The sophomore posted consecutive shutouts in Monmouth’s (2-0-0) week, including wins against Rider University and Quinnipiac. Knaub made one save against the Broncs, a game in which Monmouth won 1-0, before totaling three saves at Quinnipiac. Knaub secured her eighth shutout of the season and her 17
th career clean sheet. Knaub has not allowed a goal in 8:20:55, a span of six matches.
The Hawks are unbeaten in 18 consecutive MAAC matches (17-0-1) and have outscored their opponents 59-6 during the winning streak. In addition, the Blue and White improved their five-year MAAC record to (39-2-3) and earned their 29
th shutout in 44 games.
Rookie of the Week
Kelsey Goldring, Quinnipiac
R-Fr., F, Armonk, NY/Byram Hills
Kelsey Goldring accounted for both goals in a 2-0 road win at Fairfield University, the Bobcats’ first road win over the Stags since joining the league in 2013. Goldring scored the game-winner just 30 seconds into the match and notched her fifth goal of the season just three minutes later to seal the victory. The Freshman takes home her second MAAC Rookie of the Week honor of the season.
