Gibson factored in all four of Monmouth’s goals this past week as the Hawks remained perfect in MAAC play with a pair of victories over Iona College and Manhattan College. The redshirt sophomore drew a penalty kick and assisted the game-winning goal at Iona on Wednesday and scored both of Monmouth’s goals in the win over Manhattan. Gibson recorded her second-career multiple-goal game and has three goals in 2017. She has 45 career points in 34 games.
 
The Hawks extended their home winning streak to an NCAA best 13 games in the 2-1 win over the Jaspers and remained perfect at home in MAAC play since joining the conference (23-0-0). Monmouth is unbeaten in 10 straight matches overall (9-0-1) and is 19-0-1 in its last 20 conference games.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Taylor Dorado, Siena

Dorado posted a perfect (2-0) record with a 0.45 goals against average with 12 saves and a .923 save percentage last week for the Saints. On Wednesday, she made eight saves, to help propel Siena to a double overtime triumph over Marist. On Saturday, she added four more saves in recording her fourth clean sheet of the season in the Saints’ shutout win over Saint Peter's.
 
Rookie of the Week
Darby D’Angelo, Siena

D'Angelo totaled three points on a game-winning goal and an assist in a perfect 2-0 week for the Saints. The freshman scored the game-winning golden goal in the 107th minute Wednesday, to propel Siena to a double overtime victory against Marist. On Saturday, she added an assist in the Saints’ win over Saint Peter’s. D'Angelo put all four of her shots on target for the week.
