Fairfield's Theiller, Niagara's Hunt & Iona's Smith Named MAAC Volleyball Weekly Award Winners
Player of the Week
Megan Theiller, Fairfield
Sr., OH, Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay-East Fishkill
Megan Theiller averaged 4.56 kills and 4.89 digs per set as the Stags swept three MAAC outings to wrap up an (18-0) conference regular season. She hit .264 on the week with a pair of double-doubles and added two assists, three aces, and four blocks. Theiller claims here second-straight MAAC Volleyball Player of the Week honor.
Libero of the Week
Rylee Hunt, Niagara

Rylee Hunt takes home her fifth consecutive MAAC Volleyball Libero of the Week award and ninth of the season. Hunt led both matches in digs on her way to averaging 6.71 digs per set in two matches last weekend. The senior had a match-high 22 digs and five assists at Fairfield on Saturday. Hunt followed with a match-high 25 digs, a perfect reception percentage (24-24), three assists, and two aces in the four-set win at Quinnipiac University.
Rookie of the Week
Jamie Smith, Iona
Fr., S, Massapequa, NY/Massapequa
Jamie Smith is now a six-time MAAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week. The freshman averaged a team-best 3.22 kills per set in a (2-0) week for Iona throughout nine sets to go along with 1.56 digs per set. She tallied 13 kills in a five set win against Marist on Saturday, while adding five digs, three blocks, two assists, and a service ace. In a four set win against Siena on Sunday, Smith recorded 16 kills, nine digs, three assists, three blocks, and a service ace. For the weekend, she accumulated a .400 hitting percentage, while helping the Gaels to the third seed in the upcoming MAAC Championship.
