Gordon & Mueller Named Student-Athletes of the Week
Shannon Gordon
Marist College
Women’s Swimming & Diving
Gordon is a senior captain on the 2017-18 women's swimming and diving team and a Business Administration/Marketing major. She is a two year member of the MAAC All-Academic Team and has qualified for the Dean's List five times at Marist. Gordon has also been a member of the college's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the past several years and in April 2016, attended the MAAC SAAC Conference in New York City. Gordon currently serves as President of SAAC for the 2017-18 school year.
In the pool this season, Gordon has earned a second and third place finish in the 1,000 freestyle, a second place finish in the 400 freestyle relay and two third place finishes in the 500 freestyle.

Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country
Muller finished in 15th place at the IC4A Championships this Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park to earn all-East honors to wrap up his cross country season. This honor is accompanied by his all-MAAC performance at the MAAC Championships by finishing in 11th place and also led the Hawks in all but one race this season. Mueller, a computer science major, has been named to the MAAC’s all-academic teams each season he has been eligible for the accolade.
