Rider's Hoskova & Morris Named MAAC Women's Basketball Weekly Award Winners

Kamila Hoskova averaged 27.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game as Rider went (1-1) this past week. Hoskova shot 58.0 percent (20-of-34) from the field, including 50.0 percent (3-of-6) from three-point range. The senior opened the week with 23 points, nine rebounds, and two assists in a win against La Salle. She knocked down 9-of-14 from the field in the victory against the Explorers. The guard finished the week with a career-high 32 points and seven rebounds at Mount St. Mary’s. Her 32-point performance tied Manhattan’s Kayla Grimme for the most points scored in a game by a MAAC student-athlete this season.
 
Rookie of the Week
Jaiden Morris, Rider

Jaiden Morris claims her second MAAC Rookie of the Week honor this season. The guard averaged 13.0 points and 2.5 steals per game as Rider went (1-1) in non-conference play. For the week, Morris shot 42.0 percent (8-of-19) from the field. She also knocked down 57.0 percent (4-of-7) of her shots from behind the arc. Morris opened the week with 15 points, three assists, and two steals in a win at La Salle. She then added 11 points, a career-high four rebounds, and three steals at Mount St. Mary’s.
