Victoria Rampado takes home her second MAAC Player of the Week honor of the season. Rampado scored 27 points, which tied her career-high, to lead the Purple Eagles to a win over Buffalo. She also notched a team-high nine rebounds and went a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw line en route to the victory. In Niagara’s, 81-44, win over Colgate, Rampado recorded her league-high fifth double-double of the season with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Rampado averaged 24.5 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game in Niagara’s (2-0) week.
 
Rookie of the Week
Toyosi Abiola, Iona

Toyosi Abiola claims her fourth MAAC Rookie of the Week honor of the season. The freshman scored 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the field and went 3-of-7 from beyond the arc. She tied a career-high with three trifectas. Abiola scored eight-straight points in the third quarter against Kansas, which gave Iona the lead at the time. The guard registered four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 38 minutes of play.
