“I’m excited to join so many distinguished leaders of sports law and business on the newly formed ASU Sports Law and Business Program National Advisory Board,” notes Ensor. “The board is composed of a wide range of professionals who work in the field, and I hope to contribute based on my experience as a college conference Commissioner, a representative for many years within the NCAA governance structure, and with the management of many ‘big events’ such as the 2019 NCAA Frozen Four in Buffalo, NY, MTEs such as the AdvoCare Invitational at Walt Disney World, and the Belfast Classic this past month in Northern Ireland.”

The ASU Sports Law and Business National Advisory Board is composed of a number of distinguished individuals in the sports industry that will assist and guide the program with the mission to prepare students who are working towards a career in the field.

“We are delighted to have Rich Ensor join the National Advisory Board of ASU’s Sports Law & Business Program. After nearly 30 years as Commissioner of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, Rich is a nationally-recognized administrator who also possesses significant experience on various NCAA committees, including his recent appointment as Chair of the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Oversight Committee,” said Executive Director of Sports Law & Business Program Glenn Wong. “Rich’s insight and experience, coupled with his knowledge of the legal and business aspects of the collegiate sports model, will be a key asset to the Sports Law & Business program.”
