Kimberly Watson

Watson registered eight goals in Wagner’s opening weekend of play at the Arizona State Univesity Invitational. Against UC Santa Barbara, she recorded four goals, one assist, two sprint wins and two steals. In Wagner’s matchup against San Diego State University, Watson had three goals, one steal, three sprint wins,and two blocks. Watson had one goal, one sprint win, and drew three exclusions against Arizona State University.
Defensive Player of the Week
Emily Riddle
Wagner College
Senior, Goalkeeper, Edmonton, Alberta Canada
Riddle played 80 total minutes at the ASU Invitation over the weekend. Against UC Santa Barbara, Riddle recorded nine saves and registered one steal. Against San Diego State University Riddle had six saves, and again had one steal.
Rookie of the Week
Millie Pullyblank
Wagner College
Freshman, Center, Victoria, Australia
After arriving on Grymes Hill for the first time shortly after the New Year, Pullyblank recorded a hat-trick in her first-ever collegiate water polo game against UC Santa Barbara. Against UCSB, Pullyblank had three goals on four shots and her final goal in the fourth quarter ignited a 3-0 run for the Seahawks, however it was not enough to propel them past the Gauchos. In the matchup against SDSU, she recorded one assist and drew two exclusions. She also assisted fellow rookie Franciska Miló-Sidló on Wagner’s lone goal in the third quarter to keep the Seahawks within two tallies.
