Keen, Baab Earn Student-Athlete of the Week Awards

Tyler Keen
Men’s Lacrosse | Senior | Midfield | 5’11” | Downingtown, PA/Downingtown West

Tyler Keen is a senior co-captain of the Monmouth University lacrosse team. He propelled Monmouth to a victory over RV/16 Villanova on Saturday afternoon at Villanova Stadium. He scored a career-high four goals and became the fourth different Monmouth player to score four goals in a single game. Keen scored Monmouth’s first goal of the game after the Hawks faced an early 3-0 hole. He later tied the game at 6-6, before he put Monmouth ahead for good at 8-7. Keen’s fourth goal made it 10-7 with 6:20 left in the game. He now has 23 total career goals in 30 career games.

 

Kendall Baab
Women’s Basketball | Junior | Forward | 6’2” | Chaska, MN/Chaska

Kendall Baab has appeared in all 25 of the Marist College Red Foxes’ games this season and is a key reserve player. She was named to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll after her freshman and sophomore years, as well as receiving honor for the MAAC All-Academic Team as a sophomore. Baab is a biology major and has made the Deans List for all five of her semesters at Marist. To be eligible for the Deans List the student must have a GPA of at least a 3.6.
