Sophomore Alexis Lewis led Iona College in scoring en route to her second MAAC Player of the Week honor this season. The guard averaged 20.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 40.0 percent from the floor and 38.1 percent from long range. Additionally, on the defensive end, she averaged 1.5 steals per game.
Against Quinnipiac University on Friday, February 17, Lewis played 38 minutes, tallied a game-high 19 points and 14 rebounds. It marked her league-leading ninth double-double of the season. She also contributed one steal and two assists in the effort. On Sunday, February 19, against Fairfield, Lewis netted a game-high 21 points, collected seven rebounds, recorded one block, and two assists. She shot 8-of-18 (44.4%) from the field and 5-of-11 (45.5%) from behind the arc.

Marist College freshman guard Rebekah Hand earns her eighth MAAC Rookie of the Week award. The freshman averaged 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals in a 2-1 week for the Red Foxes.
In Hand’s first game of the week on Tuesday, February 14, against Rider University, she scored nine points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. on Thursday, February 16, she scored 14 points, grabbed seven more rebounds, had four assists, two blocks, and two steals in 39 minutes of action against Rider. Hand also went 9-of-10 (90.0%) from the free-throw line.
In the Red Foxes last bout of action of the week, Hand recorded her fourth double-double of the season, with 17 points and 13 rebounds on Saturday, February 18 against Monmouth. The guard also added three assists, two blocks, and a steal in 37 minutes of play in the Red Foxes second win of the week.
