EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) presents Around the MAAC. This week’s edition takes a look at the 2017 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships. Rider University men’s track and field team captured its first MAAC Championship and Monmouth University women’s track and field team claimed its fourth-straight title.
On Thursday, February 16, Monmouth’s men’s basketball team clinched its second consecutive MAAC Regular Season Championship with a 93-75 defeat of Rider. The Hawks became the first team in the NCAA to clinch a conference Regular Season Championship.
