Jimmie Taylor, Rider

Taylor averaged 23.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 56.0 percent (14-25) from the floor, 46.2 percent (6-13) from long range and 86.7 percent (13-15) from the free-throw line in the Broncs’ 2-0 week. He started the week with a 28-point, five-rebound performance against Manhattan, hitting 7-of-15 attempts, including 3-of-8 from long range, while also knocking down 11-of-13 free-throw attempts in the Broncs’ 93-82 win. He then made seven field goals on 10 attempts and grabbed seven rebounds in Rider’s 99-82 win at Quinnipiac. He connected on 3-of-5 three-point attempts, made both of his free throws and blocked a pair of shots. For the year, Taylor is averaging 15.7 points and 5.0 rebounds, while shooting 43.2 percent from the floor and 36.6 percent from long range.

Dixon capped off an impressive regular season with big numbers in the final two games of the regular season. He missed his third straight double-double by one rebound against Marist on Thursday, finishing with 19 points and nine rebounds, and then full just one point shy of his own Quinnipiac freshman scoring record with 28 points in the finale against Rider, shooting 10-17 from the floor. He now has the top three single-game scoring outputs in Quinnipiac’s Division I history with 29 against Canisius, 28 this week vs. Rider, and 27 vs. Iona. For the week, he averaged 23.5 points on 50.0 percent shooting to go along with 5.5 rebounds.
