Iona’s Liam Dee Finishes in Seventh at 2017 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship Men’s Mile Final

COLLEGE STATION, TX – Iona College junior distance runner Liam Dee finished in seventh place in the Men’s 1 Mile Final at the 2017 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Dee crossed the line in a time of 4:07.82 and earned All-America First Team honors for his performance.

Dee qualified for the Mile Final yesterday when he recorded a time of 4:00.72 in the second heat of the preliminary race. His time placed him in eighth place out of 16 participants and was one of the top 10 runners to advance to today’s final event.
