Junior center Shelby Barkley scored 27 goals over seven matches (3.85 average) to help the Keydets to a 6- mark last week. Barkley helped team to go 4-1 in California beating Chapman, Concordia Irvine, and University of Redlands before going 2-0 to start MAAC action. Barkley scored a season-high six goals against La Salle, and three against Siena. During the week Barkley also drew 19 exclusions and registered seven assists.

Wagner goalkeeper Emily Riddle registered 18 saves and 12 GAA as the Seahawks beat Marist and
Iona in opening weekend of conference play. The senior netminder amassed a season-high 11 saves against MAAC Co-Preseason favorite Marist, holding the No. 24 Red Foxes to just one goal in each of the first three quarters. Riddle later collected seven saves in Wagner’s 13-8 triumph over Iona. Tied 5-5 at intermission, the Canadian native held the Gaels scoreless in the third quarter as the Green & White jumped out to a 9-5 lead. Riddle’s 127 saves on the season moves her up to third for all-time saves in Wagner’s program history with 878.

Diana Fernandez totaled five goals and 11 steals for the Saints in two games at Villanova on Saturday. Fernandez scored twice, had six steals, and drew two ejections in against the host Wildcats. In the contest against VMI, Fernandez netted three more goals, recorded one
assist, and added five steals for the Saints.
