Scott Kim led the Saints to a tie for ninth place finish out of 19 teams at Villanova’s Wildcat Invitational. The senior carded a final round even par score of 71 to finish tied for 17th at +2 for the 38-hole tournament, just five strokes behind the individual tri-champions. Kim finished tied for second in the field in parring 29 of the tournament’s 38 holes. Thanks in large part to Kim’s efforts, the Saints were tops amongst five MAAC finishers in the tournament, besting nearest conference competitor Saint Peter’s by 11 strokes. Kim’s two-round score of 144 was also five strokes better than the next best score by a MAAC golfer in the event.
