Offensive Player of the Week
Erica Evans, Canisius

Canisius College junior Erica Evans had a season-high seven goals in an 18-5 victory over Iona College on Saturday. The midfielder added an assist, seven ground balls, seven caused turnovers, and four draw controls. Her seven caused turnovers marked a career high, while her seven ground balls tied a career-high. Evans would got the scoring going at 29:22, with a free position goal to put the Griffs up 1-0. Following a Gaels goal, Canisius would go on a 4-0 run that saw two goals from Evans for a 5-1 lead. Evans would add her fifth goal in an 8-0 run that gave the Griffs a 14-3 lead at halftime. The midfielder would add two goals in the second half en route to victory.
Defensive Player of the Week
Caleigh O’Connor, Fairfield
Sr., GK, Tewksbury, NJ/Villa Walsh
Fairfield University senior goalkeeper Caleigh O’Connor earned two wins and limited opponents to 12 goals over the two-game span. Her goals against average for the week was 7.58, O’Connor has the lowest goals against average in the MAAC this season (9.58).
Rookie of the Week
Nicole Ceraso, Monmouth
Fr., A, Massapequa, NY/Plainedge
Monmouth University attack Nicole Ceraso tallied a career-high five points (one goal, four assists) in the Hawks win over Marist College. The Massapequa, NY native assisted on the first goal of the game and the first two goals of the second half as Monmouth continued to build key leads over the Red Foxes. Ceraso is tied for first among all MAAC players in assists with 23 and was third among all freshmen in the NCAA heading into the weekend. She is currently tied for 12th most in school history for a single season.
